PSE5--2 questions
Is there a way to move the dialog boxes that appear in the middle of the image being edited out of the way so that the image is more visable? In my default(?) position, the dialog box for instance, "Levels", covers up over half of the image being worked on..

Also, why is it that an image as view in the PSE5 editor is not as sharp as the image as viewed in Windows?.

Any help or quidance will be appreciated..

Thanks!.

Gary..

Just press & hold the right mouse button at the top strip of BOX and drag it to whereever you want. That should work..

Maybe you are viewing image at larger size. Or is that in slide show?.

Thanks Ajay..

I will try your suggestion when I get home from work. I thought I clicked and attempted to drag from about every part of the box but apparently not..

The picture quality thing still has me stumped as the windows view is larger (full screen) while the editor view is rather small (about 18% crop)...

May use scroll wheel to enlarge view..

I am still unable to move the dialog box out of the way of the image being edited..

Holding the right or left mouse button and dragging has no affect...

I just opened Elements 2, and put a phto into it, and got the levels box on screen..

I can grab the top bluie line between the word levels and the X box for closing the levels control, and drag the levels box anywhere I want..

BUT, with Levels open, I cannont move the box containing the photo..

Closing Levels lets me move the photo to wherever I want it to be. Then opening levels again and hold down the left button lets me move the level box wherever I want..

To change the size of an image in Elements, hold down the Ctrl key and press the + sign repeatedly. Hold down Ctrl and press the minus sign (-) repeatedly to get the image smaller..

U have the reverse sharpness problem you have.In Windows, with the fiolmstrip, my images are all soft and I have to place them into Photoshop Elements to see which really are shapr (most are, althoughthey usually need some use of the sharpening command, too)..
