Flickr. It's resizing is the best I've seen and the whole community/comments thing works well.Don't wait for the Nikon D-whatever, have fun now!http://www.flickr.com/photos/j_wijnands/..

Take a look at Zenfolio. It has a very professional viewer interface and is extremely easy to use:.

The only time they have been off line in the last 6 months was two periods of a couple of hours each for a pre-advertised upgrade. They are quick to respond to email queries and I really like the layout I was able to choose..
I have recently uploaded lots of family photos (Kept meaning to sort them but ultimately decided to upload them all and sort them later and keep, them password locked at least for now). I was able to upload 340GB seamlessly in the background while I got on with other things. I did that on two occasions..
Best feature - A good range of image sizes which you can link to and which the site uses to dynamically size to the screen resolution of the viewer..

I can honestly recommend Smugmug. They have a free trial period so you can see risk-free whether or not it works for you. I and my family enjoy using Smugmug and the customer support is excellent. Lively forums and blogposts keep you informed and educated as to the sites features..

So sorry to have upset you by supply a discount code. I did a search on the forms for "discount code" and found 55 pages with 30+ lines per page, most with discount codes in the replys, some replys were searching for discount codes. I am sure that the administrators will be glad to delete my post along with all the others if they find it objectionable..
In the meantime, relax, and go take some pictures...
Do you park illegally, drop litter, smoke in prohibited places and break wind noisily in lifts as well? I expect so..
I am sure that the administrators will be glad to delete my post along with all >the others if they find it objectionable..
So this is just an example of other people having to pick up your litter and clear up after you .... Makes sense..

It depends on the needs or desires for sharing you have:.
I like PBase.com best, for actually looking at images..
I like Smugmug.com best, if I think I might be selling images..
If you are looking for a community around images, I would say Flickr is probably in the lead and has the most ways that people will actually see your images (if you tag them carefully). They also have some cool commentary options (like people being able to comment on regions of an image). The only downside is that it's so flexible, you may get lost in options..
Many of the other sites you listed are more devoted to temporarily holding your image s so they can be printed. But I don't think of them as highly for the mechanics of sharing images..
