Yes the E900 is PictBridge compliant. It can be accessed by the menu system...
I bought a H Xd card (1 GB). The images on the card are not seen by my generic cardreader (it has done fine with the 16 MB cards that Fuji sends with it's cameras). The images are seen and transferred to my PC using the camera interface cables Fuji provided. My question is: Would the use of Windows XP to format the 1 GB Xd card be a good idea ? If so, as FAT, or FAT32 ? If the PC messes up, will the camera be able to recover the card via a Format operation ?
Hi Mike, It is usually best to format the card in camera. That produces the layout that the camera was designed for. If you have a problem with that, format as FAT. Only use FAT32 for cards above 2 GB. There is a utility from HP, called the USB Key Format Utility which is good for formating memory cards (and USB-keys). - Itai.

Just picked up the E900 for a quickie shoot from the hip for street scenes in the big apple ... got it for the raw settings, but do not see that as a choice in the menu ... how do you set it up for raw capture? The highest options I see in the on-camera photo settings is 9N or 9F. thx..
RAW is not in the quality options, it's in the setup menu. - Itai.

The coupon of the E900 stated that the cycle time is 1.03/1.26. I just wondered if that was with type M or H cards. Will the use of type H cards improve the cycle time significantly over type M? Dave..
The coupon from a user stating he could not use the RAW format in Adobe Photoshop CS2 is correct, but what you have to do is download the latest RAW Image plug-in from adobe so it will work. You can find it here: http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/cameraraw.html..
I note that the international fuji website shows no E-series cameras at all. I do hope they give this another chance, with wider lens and the sd/xd slot. I may in fact take the s6000's next iteration instead, that manual-zoom 28mm is attractive.. but I would sure love to lose a little weight, and the e900 is very nice in that regard!..
Is the E900 compatible with 2Gb M memory? Does it slow it down?..
I have just got an fuji e900 camera with poor memory cardi am wanting to buy a new 1 or 2 gb card and would like to know which format card can I use the( h )or the ( m )..
Is there a battery indicator in the E900?.
How do I know when battery is low?..
I ordered before discovering that the next quality setting down from the 9 mp is 25921944 pixels. I believe this is equivalent to 6.0 mp not the 6.3 mp of the E550. What a disappointment!..
There undoubtedly is one on the monitor. Likely a red-colored battery symbol...
Camera arrived today. I took this picture of a tiny spider. Measures not more than one-tenth inch long ( excluding legs ) shot @ 9 mp fine. This is severely cropped yet the subject retains clarity. Construction feels a little cheaper than the E550 especially the battery door. I don't like lens deployment when shifting modes while in playback.
The 5.0 mp quality setting below 9 mp is a disappointment. I expected at least 6.0 Attachments:.

Every picture I take comes out with lines acrossed it. I have changed the batteries; bought new (not recharged) batteries, cleaned the lens... I don't know what else to do...
Sounds like it could be a CCD problem. It would help if you could attach an example...
