Is getting an xD type H card a worthy investment for the F30 ? I read that it gives 2 - 3x higher speed vs. a regular or type M card, but it also depends on the camera. Thanks in advance!..

I have to say that I am really surprised, really amazed about some reviewrs here comparing this camera to cameras that arent even close to it's level, surprised that they have given this camera only 3 stars, youll dont have to take my word on it, just search the net enter some proffesional photography web sites and understand how advanced and smashing this camera is. really cant compare it to any camera out in the market, not in any terms!! just few things to make youll understand what we are talking about: 1) with it's battery I was able to take almost 600 pics in one charge, no other product even comes close to these numbers.

2) the picture quality is not somthing that can be compared to any camera in the market, especially in the night or in dark situations.

3) lcd screen is better and brighter then any camera out there and it also has anti glare.

4) it has some technological features that make other brands and models seem outdated, this is the main subject I would recomend youll to read about and check into. I wouldnt recomend this camera to people that just want to look at the screen and shoot, this camera asks to be used manually or should I say use it's manual options, if your looking for a camera where youve to just look at the screen and shoot, this isnt the one for you, look elsewhere, but if you want to use it a bit more seriously, it doesnt get better then this. Will Jonson..

Dave, when are you going to coupon the F30? I am surprised you gave priority to A500 over F30!..

On todays opening page of the imaging resource is a test for the canon sd630 here is a quick excerpt: "While it achieves the usual solid image quality and good color in bright light, the Canon SD630 also impresses in low light. Its very usable ISO 800 setting sets it apart from the pack of recent cameras that promise what they can't deliver". Check out the ISO400 test shots between the Canon sd630 and the Fuji Finepix F30: http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/F30/FULLRES/F30hSLI0400.HTM.

http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/SD630/FULLRES/SD630hSLI800.HTM Here it's a startling difference in quality between the two cameras. It's pretty sad to see them mention the canon "impresses in low light. Its very usable ISO 800 setting sets it apart from the pack of recent cameras that promise what they can't deliver". The Fuji is the impressive camera without any question..

Oh yeah, F30's high iso capacity is unbeatable nowadays, but I did not see much of a enthusiasm in IR review, at least not that much they deserve for the Canons... DPReview says that F30 iso 800 has as much noise as SD700 iso 200!!! Compare both in the attachment - iso 800, and watch as the Fuji humiliates Canon when it's about high iso performance. I leave a question: if it really impressed you guys from IR, why it isn't so obvious in the review? Attachments:.
