I have a fuji finepic 2200,and need a driver for it, I can't get the driver for this model from the cd or the fuji site for some reason, can't anyone give me some suggestions....thank you..
I believe the webcam function for the Finepix 2600 is accessed through the Finepix Viewer Software which was on your setup disk. Just install that and go to Videoconference on the menu. The Finepix Viewer Software also has a good download link on it's "Internet Menu" to the most recent software versions. By the way, I have been pleasantly surprised with the Finepix Viewer Software... I use it most of the time now...
Hi! First of all I want to thank to the guys that post here theirs opinions. I've found all these opinions very pertinent. I want to buy a digital camera and you all helped me to decide what camera. At the beginning I've considered many cameras but lately I am decided for a Fuji 2600. Does anyone know where can I find in depth reviews about Fuji FinePix 2600 Z? I'm looking for something like www.dpreview.com but they don't have reviewed this camera (I am interested in image quality and chromatic aberration). I will be on vacation very soon so any help will be more than appreciated. Thank you in advance!..
Hi Jim, This is letter I sent to the editor at imaging-resource.com about the 2600. If you need a mid range camera that will give you excellent quality pix at below $300, comes w/16 SmartMedia card (I think this may be the card of choice), uses only 2 (not 4) NiMH batteries (again these seem to be the best batts out there), then this is the camera. I'm really impressed with it. Read on.... I ventured out and bought the FinePix 2600. My first impression is that it is a.
Sweet little camera. Even though I had trepidations about it being a plastic.
Body it is made very well and feels real solid. The features for a camera in.
This price range are very impressive. I have very few (if any) negative things.
To say about it at this time. It works extremely well even in low light.
Situations that would cause my film cameras to require a flash or require me to.
Push the film. This camera handles flash very well - even light in the default.
Range. The CCD in the camera is quite good and does a decent job of capturing as.
Much light as possible. I read that this is usually an issue in the mid/lower.
End cameras. Once you get used to the light compensation options you can do some.
Interesting shots. I'm sure with time I'll become used to it even more. I'm real pleased with the image quality. I've done a variety of shots in a wide.
Range of lighting and I'm impressed with the even tone the camera produced, even.
In contrasty settings. I would love to read a coupon from your labs on this.
Camera [...or on this site, hint hint]. The camera comes w/a 16Mb SmartMedia card. Again, good move Fuji. The other sim.
Priced cameras (even those costing a lot more) come only with an 8Mb card. I'm.
Looking at getting a 64Mb card soon - they are coming down in cost all the time.
So adding to the storage capacity in this range will be easy (and cheap). Fuji has done a real excellent job of connecting the user with their websites.
And options available through them. First off, the camera comes with FinePix.
VE1.2 software that allows you to transfer your images via USB to the 'puter.
Very simple and fast. No need for a card reader unless you don't have 10 seconds.
To spare. The software allows you to save for a variety needs from internet use.
To slideshows and saving for prints. Pretty cool. Real easy. If you choose to register through the software (as I did) you get get hooked.
Into a lot of options through various Fuji based websites all pertaining to.
Their products etc. A bit of shameless marketing but if you're new to this it.
Can be rather entertaining. Those options load into the software interface.
Screen and are available from that point on. On a PC you can use the camera as in internet cam. Not my need but then again I.
Haven't explored the video option the camera has either. 10fps at 320 x 240 is.
Nothing to brag about but then again my still cameras don't even come close. The only downside I'm experiencing (the upside has convinced me that my film.
Cameras are going to start getting awfully lonely real soon) is with the.
Batteries. Fuji has done a smart job of choosing the NiMH batteries for the.
2600. From what I've read and seen in much pricier cameras, these rechargeables.
Are the way to go. Fuji includes a charger too. Nice touch. Plus, the camera.
Only uses 2 not 4 like other fancier cameras. One area that I'm totally ignorant about is the batteries. Even though these.
NiMH batts seem to be the batteries of choice they are no goliaths of power. I.
Am learning how to shoot using the viewfinder (how antique) more than the.
Moderne LCD display. The LCD is so inviting yet so costly battery wise. The.
Manual warns of impending low battery usage but they don't say much about "how".
Low. The camera wisely shuts itself off when it senses the end is near but I'm.
Able to view and even shoot a few more. The manual warns to "completely" exhaust.
The batteries before recharging. Again, somewhat of a gray matter. It would be.
Great to have a meter that says - when the battery level falls below this line.
(or 10%) take the batteries out and recharge. For the novice or even semi-pro.
This is much clearer. If you guys can point me to an article or site that explains the whole battery.
Thing that would be much appreciated. Sorry to burn your retinas out about all this but your help has been appreciated.
And I just wanted to pass along what I've discovered. Oh, one last thing. I got.
The camera at i4digital.com which is selling it for $225 (list $299). Add their.
$28 shipping and you get the best deal on the net for $253 clams. A real.
Excellent deal. Check 'em out...
I have the Fine pixx 2600II, I am using Windows 98 and I have installed the drivers to use the cam as a PC-WebCam. It works but the image is very dark, almost black.
The problem is that the settings for for brightness and contrast are all disabled (gray).
Can anybody help? Thanks in advance...
Jim C: If you go to dcresource.com , you will find a recent coupon of the 2600 as well as jpeg gallery...
I have just bought this camera from a web store, and I am very pleased with this camera as well as with the whole bundle:.
Camera, 16 BB MS card, charger + batteries, soft case, detailed manuals even in Dutch, software.
I think that this is the best value for money that you can buy at this moment! I am impressed by the picture quality in the different circumstances.
The only thing which I am not so happy with is that the A does not work consistently in low light environment. The I!A' annunciator comes up quite quickly even when there should be enough light.
On the other hand, about 50 % of the pictures are quite sharp even in this situation. The advice to take the picture at a distance more than 1.5 meters does not result in the absence of the I!A', however.
I wonder if anyone can tell me what is the best to do to take pictures in rather dark areas. Did anyone take already night shots with it?? Regards from Holland, Tom Staal..
I need Finepix 2650 drivers if anyone could send them to me.
Thanks!..
I have just purchased a 2600. I have hp 520c with windows xp. Do I need to down load the finepix ve 1.2 to be able to download to my my hard drive and printer or can I go directly to my computer with out the ve 1.2..
