One way would be to move it to your photo management program (e.g. iPhoto, Picasa, or wherever you store your own pictures), and view it there..
If you right click on the image in the email, you'll probably have an option to export it to the appropriate program..
Mustafa..
I normally send them to " My Pictures ".....but I would like to view them the instant they arrive..
Are you saying that there is no way of getting round my problem?..
Tell us what email program you're using, and I'm sure someone will be able to help. Won't be me though, unless you have a Mac..
Mustafa..
It's the person who is sending the picture has no clue about how to resize it for e-mail. Tell the person to use programs like Picassa on the PC and iPhoto on the MAC, which automatically resize if you're sending them from those programs unless you tell them not to..
I use ACDSee as my image viewing program so when I click on an image in my e-mail program, if it's too large it automatically opens "fit to screen" so no scrolling is required.Larry Bermanhttp://BermanGraphics.com..
The people sending me stuff know all about re-sizing for e-mail......but they don't have the same problem as myself when I send them my stuff.....I think.........I'll look into that.........thank you for your information...
If they know all about resizing, why are they sending you full size images, unless there is a reason for it. I never e-mail anything larger than 600 pixels long dimension, and never put anything larger than 500 pixels on the web.Larry Bermanhttp://BermanGraphics.com..
Just phoned the culprit and he says he sends them big so as not to lose definition......does that make sense?..
No. If they are properly resized, they will look the same to you as they do to the sender, given your monitor specs.Larry Bermanhttp://BermanGraphics.com..
