On manual mode aperture adjustment sometimes hangs and adjusting it to compensate dark image by going to a bigger aperture opening is not possible.
Please advise. thanks..
Try changing the zoom settings .
The higher the zoom, the smaller the aperture you'll get.
PReviously I've been using a Rebel 35mm camera but I'm wanting to get a digital camera. I can't afford digital rebels but I'm wanting a nice camera that I can learn on. Looking at Canon SX110 IS or Canon A590. Which do you recommend?.
Blurry images. dark photos due to very weak flash. Poor camera.
"Blurry Images" - Use a tripod if you can't hold the camera still. "Dark Photos Due To Very Weak Flash" - The flash is weak, but if every photo you're using flash on is coming out dark, it sounds like you're using the manual settings and not setting them right. Bottom Line - All cameras from P&S to DSLR, will produce blurry images and dark photos, if you don't know how to use the camera..
Yes, you can select from full-resolution all the way down to 640x480. Refer to your manual if you don't know how..
Which would be a better choice: Canon Powershot A580 or Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W150? Would appreciate a lot if you can help me. Thanks in advance..
Can anyone suggest me the best manual settings for this cam...
That would depend on your subject, lighting conditions, and what you want to achieve, etc. Manual mode is meant for experienced photographers that know what they are doing..
I have just bought a Canon PowerShot A590 but am unable to get a manual in English [I live in Israel] and I cannot understand the Hebrew manual. I have no idea how to use the camera properly, or what the various things on it do, and the menu isn't helping me. Is there any way I can please get hold of a manual in English? Thank you Juli.
You can download an English manual from Canon's http://www.powershot.com website..
The LCD screen is quite fragile, and easily damaged just by carrying the camera in a pocket. Canon's warranty service was unhelpful and refused to repair it even though the camera did not display any external damage..
How difficult is replacing the LCD in a Canon A590 IS camera?.
I bought a Powershot A590 (November 2008 from Dell).
The light/display on my viewer went out in October 2009.
Now, when I turn my camera on I don't see any image to focus on.
I can take pictures and view them afterwards but have no way .
Knowing how far/close my subjects are until the picture has been taken.
Is there anyway this can be fixed short of buying a new camera ?
I WOULD LIKE TO START;ANEW; HOW CAN I CLEAN OR DELETE EVERY THING ON MY CANON?.
You can select "Reset All" in the Setup menu to restore the camera to factory defaults. Use "Format" in the same menu to reformat the the memory card, which will erase all images and restore the card to it's intial state..
