I just bought a Canon A 530 digital camera, but I am having trouble learning how to use it. Is there any place I could go that gives lessons on how to use this particular camera? thank you. Gloria.

Tengo una camara CANON power shoot s330 y quisiera bajar las fotos a mi computadora y no tengo el disco para que mi computadora acepte las fotos .Donde bajo eso de internet?me urge..

The WP-DC2 casing has not been certified by Canon for use with the A530. There is nothing in their website that confirms that the WP-DC2 is suitable for the A530..

I am having trouble downloading a 10 second movie to my computer. The camera stops downloading and reports an error message each time I have tried..

Try to download that file to another computer. The problem might not be at the camera..

I am trying to find an A series camera that will do remote shooting. Any suggestions?.

I have an A530 that is 2 months old. I like it and everything worked fine. Now as of yesterday, I cannot get the photos to download on my computer. I did everything the dame as before but now it wont work. I am not sure but I think it is the little button for transder /direct that is not working because this does not light up when pressed. I read the Canon warranty and not much (including this)seems to be covered in their 1 year warranty.

I find this outrageous for a company like Canon not to stand behind a 2 month old camera..

My digital A530 is working great. I have only two problems. First I get too much noise when I shot in night. The second thing is I dont know how to bring automatic date on each photo..

Use a low iso rating, especcially when use flash. increase apperture to 2.8 and decrease the shutter speed as much as possible, probably 1/60 sec.

Hello, .

Movie mode of A540 is much better than A530. Is there any way to increase the frame rate in A530? what causes the limitation? Hardware or firmware specifications? .

Please mail me at k..

How do you get the date to print on the pictures using the A530??? HELP!?!?!?!?!?!?!?.

It's the last menu item in the Record menu, and it's only available in Postcard resolution (1600x1200)..

I was given an A530 as a gift. Put 2 AA batteries in and get nothing.. Can anyone suggest anything before I try and take it somewhere to be looked at?.

Congragulations for getting such a marvelous gift. The problem seems to me me with batteries.Try to use alkaline or some good batteries. The ordinary one wont even stir this camera one little bit. If it still doest work, then gift it to me..

Ok that's good but how on earth do you get there? Can you fool the camera to think 4x6 pictures are postcards? The date factor was one of the reasons I bought the camera last year, maybe two years ago, and as I am now two years over 50 and just now putting pictures together, realized I have no dates. Being 52 and having CRS disease, this is a problem. I once thought I was rather intelligent with a masters degree, being pretty good on the computer at one time, and now I do believe I am just an idiot..
