Hello, Excuse me... I'm an idiot in digital camera. I only know how to take picture with traditional manual camera, which I have to set everything manually. Just a question... The A100, offers only the less than powerful, flash. Can I use it to triger a remote flash unit and use the remote flash as my main flash ? Sincerely, lim.

I am an idiot I was wondering if you can tell me if I have a timer on my camera and where to find it.

If by a external flash, you mean a "slave" flash*, I think the answer would be yes. I don't do a lot of flash photography, but I think there is such a thing. One possible problem, how will you hold this external flash? *Some flash can be either slave or dedicated. Will.

Hey, I tested a A100 today. Photos were fine in all conditions, but a couple of Duracell's cells lasted about 30 minutes, with 20 photos taken, and with the LCD on. It's normal or my a100 was defective?.

Hi guys I was wondering what happens if the flash gets wasted, is it replaceable? Im currently using GP1500Mah battery with mitsubishi charger how long does it take to charge those batteries? are they sufficient enough?.

You are absolutely right! I am also facing the same problem. running cost is too much on alcaline batteries. ni cad or ni-mh cells commonly available in the market are not working either what to do? sarshar ahmed.

Guys, does this camera have a good zoom lens? I mean, I can zoom any picture before taking a shot? I am a bit confused between Optical Zoom and Digital zoom. Please explain this to me. I am not that good in computer jargon. Thanks!.

You can't use the digital zoom effectively, over a 2x zoom means having lot of "noise" on picture (as a mistuned TV).

Keep in mind that zoomed image can be viewed only on LCD, not in the finder, so batteries discharges faster.

If U use a lot of zoom look for some other Digicam..

I have bought a Canon A100 camera one week ago and i'm very satisfy for the pictures. I don't know when I have to use ISO 200/400 with this camera because if I try to use this night I have a lot of noise on picture. Attachments:.

When I connect the camera on USB port in windows98 system I can see the picture in it through the "Canon Digital Camera 4.3" software but I can not see the items in the computer resource (the USB volume doesn't appear); so that I'm not able to download the movie storaged inside the camera.

Thanks 4 all answers! .

Sincerely barbi.

Hi. I'm looking for a Canon A100 Digital Camera Solution CD-ROM which is included in camera set when you buy it. I must have lost mine. Would anyone copy his own cd-rom and send it to me? My e-mail: piotr2k@2com.pl.

Has anyone blown a photo to poster size (larger than 11x14) using the Canon 20D? If so, how large was the photo? How large was the file? Any pixels? What was the over-all quality?.
