Buy or not to buy a Casio Z600?
After reading the coupon on IMAGING RESOURCE I'm 99% convinced to buy a Casio Z600. Are there any cons I don't know about/ that weren't in the review? Maybe some suggestions? What's your opinion?..

Perry, how's the image and video quality?! I have been comparing the Casio Z600 to Sony W50, Sony W70, Casio S600, Casio Z750 and even Z850 and I think it would be the best choice of all. But maybe somebody has a different opinion??..

Radek This is the camera I chose for me,i chose over all the others you comment about.I read reviews about the z600.I have taken some pictures with it and actually they look beter than many i've seen on the internet that people posted, and I used it in auto mode.Im not a pro at this and every camera has it's faults you know because you have probbly read every coupon on the internet on all the cameras.I almost bought a sony p200 till I read all the problems it had with dust,if you want to read a very good write up go to steves-digicam.com and skrool down to the z600.Also the manual that comes with the z600 not much good.I found a very good manual in pdf on the internet that has everything about this camera in it in great detail and easy to use. ftp.casio.co.jp/pub/world_manual/qv/en/EXZ600_e.pdf -..

Radek also I did'nt use the software that came with the camera, only thing I did was let the camera format my 1 gig sd card I purchased for the z600.I have winxp media edition intel pentium d,and just take the card out plug it into the front of my comp, and let it load my pic's in picasa2 which I think is great.Plus google now has web albums where you can post up to 250 MB of storage for free.Im going to set up my page soon and post some pictures in it.I hav'nt used the video yet because I love taking snap shots.Hope this helps in your decision. As soon as I picked up this z600 I knew right off that I was going to get it.Hope this helps...

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!! Now I have now doubts abut the image and video quality. Though I have one more question: the racharge of the battery. You have to put it in the cradle and connect it to the USB on your computer. But when you are not at home and you need to recharge the battery for ex. holiday trip? How will you recharge it?..

You can buy a extra charger that plugs into the camera if you want.I don't use the cradle I have a sd slot on the front of my gateway I just take the card out of the camera and plug it strait into my computer. But yes you can use the cradle also.I just don't use the software that came with the camera since I have windows media edition, and use picasa2.Also I purchased the black z600 and it's awsomely pretty. That pdf site I posted is great detail of this camera I downloaded to my desktop for reference.Good luck..

By tuesday/wednesday next week I shuold receive it:D I will write you how I feel about it. Thank you one more time for your help!!!!! Radek..

Really got excited looking at this camera today. Had all intents of getting aSony T30 or Canon ixus 800, but the features and picture Quality and size made me have serious second thoughts. If anyone has any thing I should take into consideration, please say.....
